The harddrive on my DVR went bad starting on day 12. The whole day was recorded but the corrupt harddrive made it impossible to full transfer the matches. Originally I thought it was just a one time glitch but tech support told me the harddrive was going bad and needed to be replaced. Day 14 recorded fine but during the transfer the harddrive totally died I lost all the recordings including the match highlights.Match Highlights:
Originally I said I would post the highlights broadcast but due to my slow upload speed and spotty internet service it took me more then 24 hours of constant uploading to just post 1 day. Occasionally the DDL uploads would stop and have to be restarted because of my internet going down. This further increases upload time and unfortunetly impacted my performance to release the bouts in a timely manner. Therefore I have decided that starting with the September basho I will be posting the 2hour english broadcast ONLY on TPB without any DDL links and instead upload the Japanese highlights show (24 minutes) for DDL. The size for the DDL with be around 250megs (all 15 days fit on 1 DVD). I know people want to have direct download links of the english version and I understand so I will upload them (2 per day) after I have posted all 15 days on TPB. I appologize to people who are hoping to get DDL links but because of my upload limitations and spotty ISP it makes it difficult to upload about 2-3GB/day (which is what I average from seeding and uploading to DDL sites). If you have donated because I promised you DDL links for the tournaments please email me shikigami_sumo@hushmail.com and I will gladly refund your donations.
Summary:

Final Thoughts:
Again I appologize to everyone, but unfortunetly there is absolutely nothing I can do about days 12-15. I know people want consistant uploads of all 15 days and I have the infrustructure in place to accomplish this but the DVR issue was a very unfortunate event.
I have only uploaded 2 sumo tournaments and this has been a new experience for me but I believe I have come up with a system that will allow me to upload the daily matches to TPB within 24 hours of the end of the broadcast. The next tournament should be my first complete 15 day release assuming no unforseen complications. Thanks to everyone who has donated and supported my new venture into providing sumo fans with the addiction that is sumo.
